- It
is an experience
- It
is always held over three days, including Saturday and Sunday
- During
the 3 days in an atmosphere of friendship and joy, participants
experience 3 encounters –
o An Encounter with self
– we discover ourselves as loved sons and daughters of God, who calls us to
be fully human, fully alive persons, living to our full potential.
o An Encounter with Christ
– we experience Jesus as friend – close to us, alive and living within us
every step of the way.
o An Encounter with
others – we become aware of what all of us together can bring to the world
- Through
a series of talks and discussions, sharing, praying, singing, laughing
and living together we come to understand what living Christianity is
all about
- Those
who have lived the Cursillo previously will be
praying for you

There are no tricks, no gimmicks, no hidden mysteries only revealed to
the initiated. If there are any surprises it is only because the
Christian life is full of surprises.
- You
aren’t expected to know more or do more, just
reflect on “being” more!

3 Day weekend is not an end unto itself. It is only the beginning,
and leads us into …..
THE FOURTH DAY

Fourth Day is where we continue our journey together, back in the real
world and this is the most important part of Cursillo

experience the support and encouragement of a group of friends as we
find a way to live the Gospel in our lives
